Each cake is packed with quality ingredients and baked by Couplands (CHCH) to a time-honoured recipe, making it the perfect centrepiece for your Christmas table or a thoughtful gift. These were made by Ernest Adams in PN before that company was sold to Australia and they no longer wanted to make them. So to keep them NZ Made, Couplands in Christchurch took up the call to help support such a good cause.
By purchasing your Lions Christmas Cake through The Egg Project, you’re supporting the Palmerston North Middle Districts Lions Club. This dedicated group of over 50 members has been serving the Manawatu region for more than half a century, making a real impact through hands-on community projects, supporting local families, and improving the lives of those in need.
Funds raised from cake sales help the club continue its vital work, from supporting youth and health initiatives to backing local charities and environmental efforts.
