Often overshadowed by its cousin Mānuka, Kānuka Honey is a true treasure of New Zealand, boasting a lighter, more floral flavour and unique health benefits. KiwiCoast’s Kānuka Honey is smooth, creamy, and perfect for anyone who prefers a more delicate honey.
Winner at the Artisan Food Awards and a Silver medalist in the Outstanding NZ Food Awards, this honey is the real deal.KiwiCoast Honey is based in beautiful Katikati (just down the road from your avos!), but their bees roam all over the Lower North Island—so I’m totally claiming it as local. Mark and Sheree, the legends behind KiwiCoast, have been my friends for years, and I’ve personally been buying their honey in 5kg buckets (it’s that good).
Here’s the lowdown: Due to NZ regulations, every jar of honey must have a “Best Before” date, even though honey doesn’t actually go off. Archaeologists have found edible honey in ancient tombs—so rest assured, your jar is perfectly fine and will stay delicious for years to come. The only thing that might happen is a bit of natural crystallisation, which is easily fixed by warming the jar gently.
Mark and Sheree are moving to bigger jars and buckets, so I’ve grabbed the last pottles of each variety to offer you at an awesome price. This is your chance to get your hands on some of New Zealand’s finest honey—award-winning, creamed to perfection, and, despite what the date says, still absolutely good to eat (and enjoy!).
Perfect for: Natural sweetener, soothing addition to herbal teas, or a treat straight from the spoon.
Be quick—once these jars are gone, that’s it!
