Access to Outdoors: While free-range hens have the freedom to roam outdoors, the specific conditions and the amount of outdoor space can vary. Our free-range eggs come from hens that cruise round under pine nuts and trees, with shade and protection from hawks and pests.
Feed: There may not be specific requirements regarding the type of feed given to the hens, and it may not be strictly regulated as organic.
Certified Organic Eggs
Definition: Certified organic eggs come from hens that are raised according to strict organic farming standards. This includes not only the conditions the hens are kept in, but also the feed they receive.
Farming Practices: Certified organic eggs are produced following organic farming methods. This involves avoiding the use of synthetic pesticides, herbicides, and genetically modified organisms (GMOs).
